Scaffold installer, installation of modular scaffolding in factories, shipbuilding
Responsible for erecting, disassembling, moving, repairing, maintaining, and daily pre-work inspections on scaffolding components and systems.
Minimum Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to climb and maintain balance on ladders and scaffolding at various heights adhering to company procedures and protocol while working at heights 100% tie off.
+ Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
+ Must be able to use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, pull: objects, materials, controls, and tools
+ Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds often and occasionally up to 75 pounds.
+ Must be able to follow both verbal and written instruction.
+ Must have the ability to take direction, comprehend instructions and work well with others
+ Must have own set of tools (scaffold hammer, scaffold 7/8 ratchet, snipper pliers)
+ Use hand and power tools safely and correctly.
+ Determine safe mitigations for dropped objects, and falling from heights
+ Identify all hazards associated with erecting, dismantling, and modifying scaffolding such as electrical hazards and required working distances from electrical power lines and electrical cabling.
Meat Cutter-Splitter
The meat trimmer processes primal parts into cuts that are ready for retail use and plays an important role in transforming raw material into marketable food products
• Work with a team of skilled meat cutters in a fast-paced environment to fabricate materials for specialty meat products including sausages, hot dogs and classic New York deli products
• Uses a variety of knives, hand tools and other equipment to cut and trim meat and prepare for packing
• You will be asked to follow our system of trimming and sorting meat for different purposes, and will be trained on this system
• Maintains company standards for safety and sanitation
• Work with a team of skilled meat cutters in a fast-paced environment to fabricate materials for specialty meat products
• Uses a variety of knives, hand tools and other equipment to cut and trim meat and prepare for packing
• You will be asked to follow our system of trimming and sorting meat for different purposes, and will be trained on this system
• Maintains company standards for safety and sanitation
• Working in a time sensitive process deboning, trimming and preparing standard / specialized cuts of meats using knives
• Cutting, trimming and preparing precise products in accordance with client specifications
• Working with specialized knives and equipment in accordance with workplace health and safety requirement as well as safe food handling practices.
• Maintaining equipment to ensure it is sharp and in good condition according to company standards
