Quality Control Analyst
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding laboratory environment. As a Quality Control Analyst, you’ll play a key role in maintaining our client’s high standards for product quality and consistency.
As a Quality Control Analyst, you will play a vital role in maintaining product quality and laboratory operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Laboratory Operations:
- Preparing, standardizing, and labeling stock solutions and reagents
- Performing finished product testing against approved analytical methods and specifications
- Team Development:
- Training and developing QC team members
- Documentation and Procedures:
- Preparing and reviewing standard operating procedures (SOPs), validation protocols, and reports
- Equipment Maintenance:
- Monitoring equipment handling and maintenance
- Assisting with equipment qualification and calibration
- Quality Records:
- Maintaining quality logs and registers
- Ensuring compliance with quality procedures and documentation
- Quality Improvement:
- Participating in change control and deviation investigations
Quality Assurance Officer
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum (depending on experience)
As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Documentation Review:
- Reviewing batch manufacturing documentation for QP release
- Retaining and archiving quality documentation
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Liaising with corporate quality teams
- Reviewing transit temperature monitoring records
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and EU cGMP
- Quality System Maintenance:
- Updating and maintaining SOPs
- Assisting in the upkeep of the Quality Management System
- Compiling quality documentation for reviews
- Quality Reviews:
- Preparing yearly Product Quality Reviews
- Carrying out other QA-related duties as may be required
- Documentation Review:
.Ideal Candidate:
To be successful in these roles, you should possess:
- Education: A Degree in Science or Microbiology
- Technical Skills: A strong understanding of quality assurance and control principles, laboratory techniques, and analytical methods
- Soft Skills: Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, effective communication, and interpersonal skills
- Regulatory Knowledge: A commitment to compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., EU cGMP)
